Elbow Cay in the Abaco Islands of the Bahamas is an eight-mile-long cay with picturesque beaches and soft, powdery, white sand lined with coconut trees. Originally populated by British loyalists fleeing the newly independent United States of America, the island is frozen in idealistic time and almost free of cars. Our main village of Hope Town surrounds a protected harbor with the famous Elbow Reef Lighthouse.

- Fly into Marsh Harbor International Airport (MHH)
- Take The Ferry or G & L Ferry to Hopetown
- Rent or Hire golf carts
- When you arrive at the Lodge Dock in Hopetown (the last ferry stop), you are welcome to call The Island Retreat for pick-up.
